Tom Sears is a professor at Hartwick College, a small, private, liberal arts college located in upstate New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Albany State, his CPA in 1976 and his MBA from Syracuse University in 1986. Prior to teaching he owned his own practice and was an entrepreneur involved in several businesses. He has two sons and currently resides with his wife of forty-two years in Otego, New York.

Raised under communism until he was thirteen years old and fully experiencing first-hand what communism under dictator Nicolae Ceausescu was all about, Radu Cristea is presently a successful entrepreneur and proprietor of several businesses. He studied in Cluj, Romania, and abroad, showing interest in a wide variety of disciplines from theology to computer science, history, and electronics. Currently residing in Cluj, Radu is involved in charity work and is a member of the Lions Club International.
